My Child doesn’t have a diagnosis, what support can I receive?
Your child doesn’t need to have a diagnosis for you to contact us, visit one of our Coffee & Chats or join our Closed Facebook Group & Open Page, Instagram or Twitter @hellohopegb.
Can my Child access Youth Club?
In order to access Youth Club your child needs to have a formal diagnosis of Autism, be aged between 8 and 18 years old and live or attend school in Torfaen. Check out our page on the Youth Club to download an application form. If you have an enquiry please contact Becky by email at email@example.com
I think my Child or I may have autism, what do I do next?
Usually your GP is the gateway to further services. If your child is under 18 make an appointment to discuss your concerns. You can also speak to the ALNCo at your child’s school. Both of these professionals can make a referral to ISCAN for your child. If you or your child is over 18 you can also speak to the GP or contact the Integrated Autism Service for your area
Where can I meet Hope GB?
Our volunteers usually host a Free Coffee & Chat at different schools throughout Torfaen twice a month (during term time 10am until 11.30). Your child doesn’t need a diagnosis or have to be a pupil of the school for you to pop along and see us 😊
How can I pay for Trips & Events?
You can pay for trips and events by cash or cheque in person at our office which is open Tuesdays & Thursdays 9am-3pm during term time (If we are at Coffee & Chat or the Torfaen Autism Stakeholder Group then the office is closed) Or online through our Paypal Account – please label your payment with the details of the event and your name!
How can I get involved?
Please see our page on volunteering and fundraising – there are lots of opportunities for you to get involved and help make a difference!
